I attempt to sneak in every morning to see what the two little ones are doing. Emma always sees me and rats me out. I go to her bed and she gives me her blanket and pacifier. Then she says, "Daddy at work. Pop work. Gram work. Memaw work. Baby Addy at home. Mommy work." I tell her "No, Mommy at home" (during the summer). Today, she captured it perfectly. "Daddy at work. Pop work. Gram work. Memaw work. Baby Addy at home. Mommy home-work." (Payton talks about family members whereabouts during other times of the day.)
A Payton funny moment happened today as well. He was sitting on my lap and I asked him to smile for me (which if you have not seen his smile on command ~ it is hilarious). I also asked him to show me his frown (pronounced fown). He looked confused (while Emma showed me her frown). I demonstrated a frown, which led to him giggling. For several minutes he would attempt to frown, but it always resulted in the sweetest, most contagious laughter. Finally he looked me straight in the eye and with a serious, almost frustrated voice, said "Just can't fown!"
