We recently went to Oklahoma for our one week stay. It is harder now that the kids are older, but we still have a lot of fun. We saw friends and family that we miss everyday. Here are a few pictures of our adventures.
On the first leg of the trip, Pop rode down with us (Andy was staying behind to work). We met up with my mom, sis and her family in Missouri overnight. My niece is now walking and I decided to do her hair (mainly to annoy her mommy!).
About mid-week, we went to Oklahoma City to see my dad's side of the family. Payton is quite the jokester these days, so he did his famous (and hilarious) "What's that on your shirt?" routine. Grandma looked down, and then Payton bopped her in the nose while saying "Got ya!"
Another day, we saw our great friend, Monica. I had already gone to a movie, dinner, and shopping ~ but the kiddos had their turn. She painted their nails (yes, both of the kids nails). We had a great time eating lunch and spending time with Monica!
One of the last things we did was visit my long time friend, Brook, and her family. It is great to get in a room with six kids and watch them play. They talked, played music and toys, ate snack, and played games. It was a lot of fun!
Our trip was a good one! We saw my great-aunt! Payton looked for bugs, Emma accidentally stepped on a worm (we both SCREAMED). Andy flew down and we spent time with his family before driving back. With the move in two short weeks, we are unsure when we will get back to Oklahoma! But we know many people will be visiting us soon!

That little girl with the crazy hair is most definately the cutest baby I have ever seen.
For the record, I was only doing what I was told!! :) (Painting BOTH kids fingernails!)
