The Wind and *gulp* The Snow

It is terribly windy here today. Reminding me of a great windy story that I must read to the class tomorrow. Anyhoo, it started out on the windy warm side this morning and then it changed. This evening, we went over to visit some friends. We left the house about 4:45 and to the north was the strangest cloud. It was moving fast and looked creepy. As we got closer to our friends' home, small ice pellets dropped onto the car with an occasional snow flake. Then it stopped. Then it started again. This continued until we got home around 7:30.

Tonight, the girls (moms and daughters) went to the mall and then to Panera while the boys (daddies and sons) stayed behind to play toys (and PlayStation). While in Panera, snow fell and whipped around with the wind. That started the talk with Emma and her friend about snowmen. They were quite excited. And the soup tasted so great at that moment.
