We (meaning Emma, Payton, and I) are all on the computer this morning. Mommy is not at work today, because it is Veteran's Day. We have lots of fun things planned. Right now, we are looking at our friends' blogs and all the pictures. A man named Gary will soon be here to finally deliver the broken kitchen table ~ that is now repaired. Then we are going to get in the car and drive to Daddy's work to surprise him with lunch. Mmmmm! We will try not to sleep on the way home ~ so Mommy can get a nap also. After nap, we will watch our new DVD of Wonder Pets and hopefully play with playdough. We will also deliver a meal to some friends with a new baby tonight. Mommy will hopefully be working on her project with a friend at a coffee shop.
We mentioned our new favorite thing ~ playdough. Mommy has not given it to us before because we she was afraid we would make a mess. She was right. Even with a mat underneath, we still managed to get playdough everywhere excepts the mat. Mommy put it away, but says she will try again today. We play for hours with it ~ which allows Mommy to get some things done around the house.

That sounds better than what happens at our house. We eat it at our house. Then it goes in the trash. Then we throw a tantrum and Mommy locks herself in the bathroom and cries.

my daughter LOVES playdoh too -- but, I can't stand it! It comes our only rarely at our house....then, I have to make my husband clean it up -- I can't stand to touch it....like I posted about!
Isn't it interesting what sensory 'issues' each of us demonstrates -- what bothers me doesn't phase my husband. But, now my husband - he can't stand his food mixed together (like stew)...
