We woke up one morning and needed light jackets. It was wonderful! As you can see by the picture (in the entry to where we live), Payton is wearing a beautiful purple and pink striped sweater. No, that is not his sweater. This change of season snuck up on us, therefore he was wearing Emma's sweater.
Now there is a story all in itself. Emma LOVES jackets and coats. The coat she is wearing is from Carter's Outlet, and she adores it. The next day, she wore an outfit that matches the sweater. I started to put the sweater on her ~ fueling a tantrum. She wanted the pink flowered jacket. However, Payton already had it on. So I fought to put the sweater on and buttoned it up. The entire 30 minute ride to the babysitter was her screaming, kicking, and trying to pull off the sweater. When I picked her up 4 hours later, she was still mad at me.
We have bought Payton two jackets since that picture was taken. One is an adorable orange color and the other is a red sweat jacket. However, Payton would prefer the pink AND he still wants me to put a "pretty" (hair holder thingy) in his hair. I do it, with major frowns from Andy.

Ok, I'm cracking up here. I remember you mentioning this to me last week. Funny thing is...Hailey has that EXACT sweater that Payton is wearing! I kept thinking, "hmmm...that looks familiar". Ha ha!
