MRI

What a day this has been. This morning, as I was leaving my school in route to a meeting ~ I suddenly had tingling in my legs. I lost feeling and fell to the ground. Thankfully, my dear friend was there to ask if she needed to call 911 (NO!!!) and then helped me get up. She drove me to our meeting, as I called the doctor. Less than an hour later, I sat in the doctor's office (thanks to another friend) being asked many questions. After finally getting ahold of Andy, and against my doctor's wishes, I went back to the important meeting at school.

I am not allowed to drive until further notice. My dear friend took me to the hospital tonight for my MRI. I have never had one, and it was something I would not want to do again. I will get the results by Tuesday. Thanks to hunnybee's hubby for helping Andy get the car from my work! Thanks A for driving me to the doctor! Thanks to Steph for taking care of me today!!

On a less stressful note, I have been able to actually eat at Sonic this week TWO times. For a girl that grew up with more Sonic's than Mickey D's ~ this was exciting! Yesterday, however, Steph and I went and found out that the Chocolate Cream Pie Shakes have coconut in them. Poor Steph is highly allergic to coconut ~ which led to a hilarious afternoon of swollen lips & tongue, and gum flying out of her mouth. My Banana Cream Pie Shake was Yum-O (as well as my cherry limeade)! Update 8/30/08: Andy took us to Sonic today! I really needed a cherry limeade. Here are the kids "ordering".

As someone who has a history of dizziness and neurological workups (not to mention treatment for epilepsy at one point), I know how unsettling an occurance like this can be. Glad you've had the MRI and I'll say a prayer that the cause can be identified and quickly resolved if it needs to be addressed further.
Blessings,
~Toni~

I'm glad you got your answer. If you want to go walking with me for some exercise you're welcome to. I don't go very fast, but I try to make a round or two around the subdvision in the evening. It's a nice break from my hooligan. Let me know!
