"Emma Did It!"

Those words were part of our pee-pee dance and song number today!

Payton was a little gassy today, and I jokingly asked him if he needed to go to the potty. He quickly said no. BUT Emma said "I go potty." Why not? So, I took her in there, and put her on the potty. She wanted to immediately play with the toilet paper. I told her if she went potty, I would let her have some of it. She started to grunt and looked like she was pushing (which it took all I had to not laugh), and then suddenly she started to pee-pee! It scared her at first, she looked behind her wondering where that noise was coming from. Then I got excited! I overly encouraged her and praised her. I let her get lots of TP. We went into her room to put on a diaper ... we sang and danced. Emma was so proud of herself and excited. She wanted to call Daddy, Gram and Pop (whom were all so proud of her).

A recent post over at ladybug picnic has me wondering if this too is a fluke! Time will tell! Daddy will have to finally put on the training seat.

Hooray for pee-pees!!! Won't be happening any time soon at my house, but I'm so exicted when I hear of such accomplishments!! Yeah Emma!

Who would have thought that peeing into a toilet would make one so happy?

:)

Yay for Emma...your turn Payton!

We have yet to pee on the potty again since the "fluke". :(

Oh, the fun has begun for you! It's soooo wonderful once they are potty-trained, but while you are in the process it can get very frustrating. You are about to experience some fun memories!
