It seems so long ago that Payton's heart murmur was first noticed. The next visit, it was gone. I have noticed over the past year or so, that whenever he is sick (which is more than I like) the murmur is strong. However, when he is healthy, the doctor said it is faint to non-existant. Last week, I took Payton in for a check up on it, before our insurance changes. He was healthy, but the murmur was strong. Therfore, on his birthday, he is going in to have a doppler/echo. Scheduling lady told me to expect it to take 2 hours and to bring DVD, quiet toys, etc.
Today, we (our little family) were out for lunch. Walking back to our car, Payton decided to run ahead ~ right into the street. Andy got to him and knelt down to "talk" to him about it. When he stood up, Andy said he really could feel Payton's heart beating. When we got to a stopping place, I compared Emma and Payton's heart beats. Payton's is definately stronger (is that because he is thinner?) and it had a little bit of a different feel.
I am ready to find out what is going on with my little man.

I'll be praying for this. It's good to find out what's going on. If you need a sitter for Emma, call me. Thanks for the update, too. Definitely in our prayers!!
He's definitely in my prayers too. Hope all goes well at the visit.
